The Theodora W. Grow Center for Biblical Leadership was founded in 1991 by a generous grant from Brimson Grow of LaGrange, IL (1909-2000). Mr. Grow was a prominent Chicago attorney, philanthropist, active Baptist layman, and long time supporter of the Seminary. He envisioned a center that would promote Biblical leadership, encourage renewal in local churches, and support Northern Seminary's mission of
providing Biblically based ministerial formation. The Center was named after his first wife, of 49 years, who passed way in 1984. To accomplish our mission the Grow Center pursues a multifaceted ministry.:
- Sponsor speakers, seminars, workshops and learning opportunities that foster Biblical leadership and church renewal. These events will serve the needs of both local churches and the Northern Seminary community.
- Offer Biblically based and relevant theological education to laity and bi-vocational pastors.
The Center seeks to partner with Evangelical churches, organizations and schools to further our mission of strengthening and encouraging the local church in the areas of Biblical leadership and renewal. If we can be of service to you please contact the Center.
The mission of the Grow Center for Bibilical Leadership is to serve and support evangelical churches by providing culturally relevant and Biblically based resources for the ongoing development of church leaders.
